BACKGROUND: Ms. Beasley was born into a horticultural family, regionally acknowledged by design and garden awards. Ms. Beasley thereby inherited landscape skills and knowledge. Formal landscape education followed.

FORMAL TRAINING: Landscape architecture classes:  Radcliffe College, Boston, MA; the UC Berkeley Extension program; Arboretum field studies of trees (Arnold Arboretum, Strybing Arboretum) and native California plants (Marin County Open Space and Presidio National Park).

RECENT: Recent ten years: Marin County’s plant nurseries: Sunnyside Nursery of Marin and Sloat Garden Center.
California Certified Nursery Professional’s certified.

Executed landscape design with horticultural advice and project management to residential owners of Marin and San Francisco counties.

OTHER BACKGROUND:  MBA degree in Finance (1977): corporate work in asset management, financial operations, and small business development.
